Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Alexandria, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,111 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Excellent physical assessment and documentation skills Experience caring for acute care stroke patients Time management skills Well-developed critical thinking skills Established A.I.D.E.T behaviors Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs and HAIs Chemotherapy experience is a plus Description: Join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality, efficient, and compassionate healthcare services. This unit is equipped with 31 beds and has a patient ratio of 6:1. Staffing includes unit secretaries from 6 am to 10 pm, and techs available on all shifts. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requires 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. Staff may float to other Med-Surg and Telemetry units as necessary. Candidates must exhibit excellent patient experience capabilities. This unit has recognized awards and is noted for outstanding team performance. Block scheduling is available for staff convenience. Communication is facilitated through mobile applications. Computers and scanners are available in every room. Expect to work alongside a core group of experienced staff on each shift.
