The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in long-term care preferred.Full-time positions available: Night Shift (6p - 6a)*Responsibilities** Record a patients medical history accurately* Perform all tasks assigned to a Licensed Practical Nurse* Monitor and observe residents' condition and document* Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in activities of daily living* Knowledge of medication administration and infection control* Administer injections, prescribed medications and assist with other basic medical care tasks* Provide emotional and psychological support when needed* Communicate with patients family or friends to provide education and comfort*Skills** Current license as an LPN in the state of Louisiana* Proven experience as LPN or similar role* CPR certification* Willingness to provide quality customer service in keeping with facility standards of practice* Willingness to comply with and uphold the facility's vision, mission statement, standards of practice and policies/procedures* Demonstrate sensitivity to residents' needs* Demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment* Demonstrate initiative regarding job duties and assignments* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Compassionate and able to handle stressCompetitive Pay.
