Job Description:
Cherokee Federal, a leader in global services and part of the
esteemed Cherokee Nation Businesses, is seeking a skilled General
Biologist III to enhance our Scientific Research & Development
team. This role focuses on conducting advanced biological studies,
experiments, and research initiatives critical to environmental and
biological sciences. As a General Biologist III at Cherokee
Federal, you will apply your expertise to support our mission of
delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions in scientific
research, especially in areas intersecting with our broad spectrum
of engineering and IT services. Your work will not only contribute
to scientific advancements but also uphold the values and
responsibilities of Cherokee Nation towards ecological and cultural
stewardship. Plan, conduct, and oversee complex biological studies
and research projects. Analyze and interpret data from
environmental, biological, and ecological studies. Prepare detailed
reports and scientific papers for peer review. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including engineering and IT, to integrate
biological research with other project elements. Monitor project
progress and ensure compliance with environmental laws and
regulations. Present research findings to stakeholders and at
scientific conferences. Expertise in molecular biology,
bioinformatics, or ecological modeling. Strong analytical and
quantitative skills. Proficient in statistical analysis software
and biological databases. Effective communication and teamwork
abilities. Adaptability to interdisciplinary projects involving
technology and construction aspects. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional certification such as
a Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB) preferred but not
required.
