Basic Function

Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of SAP and other interfaced applications within a functional business area. This position's focus is to provide specialized business process and SAP transaction knowledge in support of increased SAP utilization, as well as increasing master data quality and integrity.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide business area users with guidance on how to use SAP functionality to execute their business processes efficiently
• Primary interface/liaison between business unit(s) to facilitate development of SAP resources for the respective business unit(s)
• Recommend SAP security profile assignments for business area job positions
• Assess and report SAP issues using a formal problem reporting process aligned with IT processes
• Recommend report structures and data relationships when interpreting and creating business reports and analyses
• Participates in needs analyses, assisting in the collection of data to be used in additional educational initiatives
• Achieve a satisfactory level of technical and professional skills/knowledge in job related areas while staying up to date with current advancements and trends in related fields.
• Demonstrates adaptability in performing various tasks, responsibilities, and interacting with different people in changing environments.
• Comprehension of legacy reporting structures and provide end-user support for ad-hoc reporting
• Support and utilize PowerBI for KPI tracking events for support of MOWP process.
• Backup for CATS Mass Upload process for processing contractor time in SAP.
• Support for MOC updates to Master Data in SAP and Procedure updates
• Track and develop KPIs for MOWP and present findings to all unit operations/maintenance management on trends
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives and identify and address issues.
• Responsible for daily utilization of SAP to update Master Data in the PM module.
  Area of Expertise, Requirements
  
  • Familiarity with the business processes and system capabilities of SAP and related systems within the functional business area(s) represented.
  • Use of MDG from updating and correct Master Data information

    Education
    
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent, required
      Work Experience
      
      • 2 - 3 years of experience in SAP PM system, required
      • SAP PM Superuser, preferred.
      • Strong understanding of Work Orders/Notifications, preferred
      • Power BI experience, preferred
        Languages English, additional language preferred
