Greenberry proudly maintains a distinguished record as one of the safest fabrication and field services companies in the industry, which aligns with commitment to safety as a core value of NAES.Opportunity SummaryThe Senior Estimator / Business Development Manager is the primary member of the estimating team who has overall responsibility for the creation of estimates and generating business development opportunities for Greenberry Industrial. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of complete construction estimates for a variety of types of projects in industrial construction, including but not limit to the following:ExcavationCivil/ConcreteStructural (Fabrication/Installation)Process SystemsPipe (Fabrication/Installation)Pumps/MotorsOther Rotational Equipment (Fans/Blowers)Module ErectionThis role will provide expertise and leadership for all estimating efforts, ensuring that projects align with company objectives and goals for company performance. The position proactively develops new business opportunities and relationships with current and potential customers. Considerable interfacing with client and business development support efforts are required.Here's a look at some of the work you'll be performing:Oversee estimating process including solicitation of bids from vendors and subcontractors; tracking, follow up and reporting on multiple estimatesReviews project plans and specifications and coordinates with the team to confirm complete scopeEnsure the timely completion of estimates within tight deadlines and assigned budgets, including timely reviews with senior managementPrepares conceptual budgets based on minimal informationReviews general conditions, schedule, scopes of work, hoisting plans, and site logisticsEnsures the flow of project information is maintained and documentedReviews and/or manages the review and scoping of specialty contractor bids; analyze alternate means and methods to determine the most economic alternativeBuilds effective relationships with customers, design team, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectationsMust be comfortable selling projects and services as well as communicating with customersActively participates in industry, client and community relations to enhance company imageEffectively supervise a staff in the day to day administration of a job, or supervise two or more Managers, Estimators, site leads, superintendents and/or engineersThe responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to those listed above and other duties may be assignedWhy you're the perfect addition to our Team (about you):Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or similar or equivalent technical training knowledge and experience desiredMinimum of ten years work experience in heavy industrial industry preferredKnowledge of the craft jurisdiction requiredSupervisory skills desiredCapable with BIM Model Software (Solidworks, Navisworks, Compress, Strumis, etc.)Experience in the coordination of multiple activities and tasks in multiple disciplines requiredTactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors and othersExcellent verbal and written technical communication skills. Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team playerAbility to understand and follow standard operating policies and proceduresAbility to perform duties in a professional manner and appearanceMust be willing to travel as requiredValid driver's license requiredWork ScheduleNormal working hours are 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through FridayFlexible work hours may be consideredSome extended hours, travel and overnight stays will be requiredNAES and Greenberry are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
