Essential Duties/Responsibilities:---Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.---Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.---Greet customers immediately who enter the store in a friendly, upbeat and helpful manner.---Form positive relationships with customers to help achieve sales goals and ensure recurring business.---Be knowledgeable of store product lines, pricing and current inventory. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sales, promotions or special pricing programs to communicate same to customers.---Assist customers with choices, help customers locate items and provide information about products.---Discuss type, quality and number of items required with customers. Recommend merchandise based on individual requirements.---Explain uses and advantages of merchandise to customers. Advise customers on utilization and care of merchandise, and demonstrate working of merchandise as needed.---Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a positive manner.---Operate register upon sale. Accurately accept payment through cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, checks, player comps and/or player point redemption.---Display merchandise neatly and in proper area, following internal merchandising standards.---Accurately price and attach price tags to the merchandise.---Communicate with manager regarding inventory and stocking of items. Maintain sales records for inventory control as required.---Maintain a professional and neat appearance at all times.---Keep store neat, clean and visually appealing at all times by ensuring attractive displays of merchandise and prompt correction of any deficiencies.---Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.---Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.---Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.---Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:---High school diploma or equivalent.---One (1) year fine jewelry sales experience required.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals. Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
