Under the direction of the Front Services Manager, the incumbent is responsible for planning and directing the Front Desk and Guest Service operations to ensure a positive guest experience. --- Exhibit all conduct in accordance with Louisiana Gaming regulations and Golden Nugget policies and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations. --- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. --- Oversee daily work assignments of Front Desk staff. --- Perform front desk duties as needed, including check in/out, answering inquiries and reserving room nights. --- Investigate and resolve guest situations such as reservation errors or lost personal belongings. --- Responsible for quality, consistency and presentation of all products delivered to guests. --- Promote positive guest/employee relations. --- Work flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation. --- Ensure procedures protect the integrity and security of the company, employees and guests. --- Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff. --- Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in operations. --- Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic. --- Other duties as assigned. Requirements: --- Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred; --- Three (3) or more years of front desk experience is required. --- One (1) year supervisory experience strongly preferred. Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals. Must have basic skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
