so, our Defense Systems sector wants you to join our team as a AMFC
OU E-6B Senior Principal Contracts Administrator.In this his
position, you will be the on-site lead for Northrop Grumman's (NG)
Aircraft Manufacturing and Fabrication Center's (AMFC) E-6B
contract portfolio. Northrop Grumman has secured multiple E-6B
maintenance and modification contracts and is in the process of
securing additional work in this area. You will be responsible for
managing all contractual documentation and communication between NG
and a very collaborative customer.You must be located or willing to
relocate to be onsite at AMFC in Lake Charles, LA. Relocation
assistance may be available.Your duties include:Administers,
extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard
contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation,
contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide
for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with
company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production
costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure
accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications,
progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual
rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains
historical information.Basic Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree and
a minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration and
management; a Master's Degree and a minimum of 8 years relevant
experience; an additional 4 years of additional relevant experience
may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.2. Ability to
effectively work with the management of other organizations
(program management, subcontracts, business management, and supply
chain management) as well as customer representatives.3. Ability to
manage complex projects with numerous stakeholders and ensure
accurate and timely completion4. Senior level knowledge in
understanding and interpreting the FAR/DFARs and other U.S. Federal
Government contract regulations along with experience in Government
contracting.5. Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to
senior level internal & external customers.6. Ability to
obtain/maintain a DoD Secret level government security
clearance.Preferred Qualifications:1. Master's degree and/or
recognized contracting certification2. Experience with depot
maintenance or logistics contracts3. Strong problem solving skills
and the ability to be flexible and change directions when
needed.Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
