Description:Purpose of Job:Responsible for repairing and
servicing machinery under supervision or after a consultation with
the direct report.Essential Job Functions and Performance

- Disassemble and evaluate pump as assigned
- Bring pump to work area and identify pump's make model and
serial number
- Acquire Bill Of Material for pump *
- Disassemble, clean and inspect parts for wear or damage per

- Write repair worksheet on needed parts*
- Gather all parts, properly box and store, tagging with the job
number
- Assemble and test pumps as assigned
- Verify parts match the part numbers on repair worksheet*
- Perform light cleaning if necessary
- Assemble pump per authority level outlined belowPart -

- Perform Quality Assurance QA test on repaired pump
- Paint pump if necessary
- Request Quality Check at designated hold points along with the
final QC/QA (must be performed by another tech who is at least
level B)
- Complete necessary forms with final data and photos*
- Remove and install pumps in the field
- Follow safety protocols of customer (i.e. lock out/tag out and
close valves)
- Uncouple pump or equipment, remove from system and load for
shipment to shop per authority level outlined belowPart - Authority

pump to assist the appropriate personnel with pricing and quoting
the repair

- On a daily basis, conduct a forklift inspection, shop vehicle
inspection, and PPE inspection to ensure equipment is in safe
operating status
