Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in an industrial setting. Candidate must also be skilled in pipe fabrication, isometric drawing and blueprint reading, and field layout and sketching experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Clarity and accuracy of job instructionsAvailability and completeness of spare parts and materialsOperations preparation of equipment to enable workTool requirements and specialized equipment listed clearly in the Job Plan PackageAvailability of special tools or equipmentEquipment history completed and entered into the CMMSAvailability of drawings and other required technical information contained in the job packageCoordination and expediency with support crafts, shop personnel and orcontractor personnelPermit requirements known in advance and included in the Job Plan PackagePermit preparation and time required for permit approvalLockout steps and equipment preparation completed and adequateTime allocated for job completion consistent with the actual job durationAre there changes in the way the equipment was operated that could have prevented this repair? Are there new preventative measures or changes to current PPM programs that could have prevented this failure?Any other factors or considerations that did not facilitate the task completion in an expeditious timeframeEducation and Experience:5-7 years of Construction/Maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.Previous experience in petrochemicals plant operations.Knowledge petrochemical equipment.Ability to communicate effectivelyExhibit individual initiativeWestlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
