Position: Business Development Associate Job Description: SiliconExpert Business Development Associate (ARROW) Open Position We are looking for a proactive and energetic Business Development Associate to help drive grow new business within the Arrow existing customer base. This position is tasked with building relationships with the Arrow sales team (Field Sales Managers and Account Development Reps) in order to (via Arrow) gain net new customers for SiliconExpert. Other duties will include market research, message creation, A/B testing of messaging via Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to create best practices. A large part of the role will be to enable Arrow sales reps, gain their trust and as a result book meetings with their customers. This role will work closely with the Business Development Rep territory lead and Regional Sales Manager to reach monthly, quarterly, and yearly growth goals. The successful applicant is resourceful, dedicated, organized, motivated to increase sales, has a team-player mentality, and looks for new and creative ways to attract new customers. A background in sales is strongly desirable as well as an understanding of Arrow is a plus. Understanding the value of customized outreach messaging to customers is preferred. Principal Responsibilities: Business Development Associates help companies boost growth and sales. They identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, conduct market research, and test out new business strategies. They work individually and as a team to grow the business. In this role, you will:

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with Arrow sales reps per Arrow branch
  • Enable Arrow sales reps with the understanding of the SE value prop (what is in it for the Arrow rep and what the value is to the Arrow customer)
  • Set up meetings with the Arrow reps to gain traction with their customer base
  • Work closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies
  • Conduct outbound prospect activities and strategies (Email/Calls)
  • Conduct activities and research to drive stickier conversations & identify potential clients
  • Collect prospect and client information in the CRM database
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, collect new ideas for client services through conversations w/ prospects and market research, and use this information to hone the sales motion and marketing strategies
  • Conduct and assist with sales pitches, presentations
  • Create prospect communications, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Need to manage multiple projects concurrently, achieve targets, and meet deadlines
  • Support inbound campaigns to ultimately win business for SiliconExpert
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • MBA or related (preferred)
    • 1 year of SaaS experience
    • Understanding of Arrow's core customer base
    • 1-2 years outreach/cold-calling experience
    • Outreach experience (preferred)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Copy writing experience
    • Ability to work in agile environments
    • Ability to work under pressure (your success/failure is quickly visible in Sales)
    • Strong organization and project management skills
    • Outgoing and personable demeanor
