experienced personnel with P-3 aircraft background to support a
contingent maintenance program with Customs and Border Protection
(CBP) in Lake Charles, LA. The CBP P-3 fleet consists of Airborne
Early Warning (AEW) and Long Range Tracker (LRT) high-endurance,
all-weather, tactical turbo-prop aircraft. The AEW aircraft are
utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S.
border, and in source and transit zone countries. The LRT aircraft
are used to intercept, track airborne and surface threats in source
and transit zone countries. The P-3 aircraft are equipped with
state-of-the-art, highly sophisticated sensor equipment, i.e.,
radar, electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) detecting systems. Are

SCA Parts / Tool Crib Attendant. This position is located in Lake
You will support our 24/7, 365 days a year mission by performing
work in a tool crib facility that will directly support daily
aircraft maintenance activities & flight operations.
Your duties include:Requisitions, receives, stores, identifies,
and issues parts, tool kits, individual hand tools, shop supplies,
electrical/electronic testing & measuring devices, personal
protective equipment, and HAZMAT supplies.
Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic
inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn
out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions,
validate information and maintain database.
Operates a computer workstation and must have a demonstrated
knowledge of Microsoft Word, inventory control systems, precise
measuring equipment and be familiar with FOD control procedures and
Establishes and maintains required inventories for assigned
cribs and prepares estimates of future requirements.
Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes
of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established
Ensures that measuring devices are routinely inspected &
Basic Qualifications: 1. A High School diploma or equivalent and
a minimum of 2 years` of experience in a parts, tool crib,
maintenance/manufacturing environment, or tool inventory control
position2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to work
standing up for extended periods of time.3. Ability to
use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Simple
grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation is required.4.
Ability to use vibrating tools and perform torqueing operations in
include hand tools & power equipment and climb ladders or stairs.
5. A current Secret DoD Security Clearance. 6. Ability to
pass/maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background
Investigation7. Experience with data entry, and proficient using
digital scanners for tool control & inventory8. Experience
receiving tools, inspecting, verifying, inventory, cleaning,
tracking for accuracy9. Forklift experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. 4 or more years experience
maintaining tools/tool kits for the U.S. Air ForceSAP Experience
(System, Application, & Products)2. Tool crib experience in a
military aircraft flight line environment3. Government Property
management4. HAZMAT experience/qualified
