Manufacturing Engineer. This position is located at Lake Charles,
You will support the Joint STARS Program by using your talents
and experience to resolve manufacturing issues and create work
instructions used during the inspection and repair of the
You duties will include:
Working with an experienced group of Manufacturing Engineers to
maintain a basic inspection deck of depot maintenance checks then
deciding how to implement the repairs of issues that are
discovered. Your duties will inclede not only the work instructions
but also to identify any special tooling that might be needed and
sometimes the concept of that tooling if we need to make it.
1. A Bachelors of Science degree with a minimum of 5 years of
experience working with engineering drawings, process
specifications and other tech data.
2. Ability to gather, analyze and correlate data.
3. Familiarity with reading and understanding Tech Orders &
4. Able to understand technical instructions and create logical
sequences of events and provide them to others.
1. Experience working in an MRO environment with inspection
2. Experience with tooling & cutter fabrication
3. Experience modifying and creating work instructions using a
paperless planning system
4. Experience working in the MES system.
