Job Description:
Louisiana Bridge Builders (“LBB”) is design ing and building the
new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA)
for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development
(LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of
interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and ap proaches for
a 5.5 mile stretch between I-210 West End and Ryan Street.

The Laborer – Warehouse is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge
Builders by supporting warehouse and construction operations by
safely operating forklifts and performing general labor tasks such
as loading, unloading, material handling, and site maintenance.
This role requires strong safety awareness, physical stamina, and
advanced forklift operating skills. LOCATION This position is based
in Lake Charles, LA. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operate
forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials safely and
efficiently. Transport pallets, equipment, and supplies to
designated areas. Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, sorting, and
organizing materials. Inspect forklifts daily and report
maintenance issues. Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety
procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist
supervisors and team members with general warehouse or job site
duties. Accurately track and move inventory when required.
Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS Effectively communicate
in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal
communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow
employees, vendors, etc. Ability to understand, follow, and
transmit written and oral instructions. Ability to work as a team
member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal.
Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others
to seek innovative approaches. Ability to function effectively as a
team player and collaborator. Ability to work a flexible work
schedule, additional and/or different hours, including but not
limited to nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed, to best
serve the business operations. Ability to use hand tools, power
tools, and layout tools safe and efficiently. Ability to maintain a
current and valid Forklift Certification. QUALIFICATIONS At a
minimum, the Laborer – Warehouse must have 2 years of forklift
operating experience as well as a valid Forklift Certification or
the ability to obtain a valid Forklift Certification. Experience in
warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or construction environments
with a strong knowledge of warehouse or construction safety
practices along with basic mechanical knowledge of equipment is
preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Select one the following for the each
