This role will provide support for a busy hospital-based orthopedic trauma service. The ideal candidate will have experience managing acute orthopedic injuries. Responsibilities: Trauma call coverage for orthopedic cases Operative and non-operative fracture management Inpatient rounding and consults Collaborate with hospitalists, ER, and surgical team Provide post-operative care and follow-up Requirements: Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required Active Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain) DEA license required BLS/ACLS certification required Prior experience in a trauma setting is essential Extras : Generous (above market) hourly rate All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate Med-mal and tail insurance covered Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts Located in southeast Texas near the Louisiana border, Beaumont offers a unique blend of Southern charm, diverse culture, and access to outdoor recreation.
