ICU/Critical Care RN in Lafayette, Louisiana, 70503! Job Title:

years License: Compact or state license required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of
experience in the ICU specialty. - Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and
NIHSS are required. - Previous charge experience is preferred. -
Experience with trauma level I or II is preferred. - Must be
comfortable assigned to an "Emergency Team." - Must be over 65
miles from the facility for consideration as a traveler. - Must
have experience with Epic charting system preferred. - Must have
completed a travel assignment previously. - PDF format
certifications required. Description: We are seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse with ICU specialty experience. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in critical care nursing. This
position involves providing care for patients with severe and
life-threatening conditions. The daily census for the unit is
approximately 44 patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.
Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. The role
includes responsibilities such as monitoring vital signs,
administering medications, and executing treatment plans. You will
collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality
patient care. Candidates must be proficient in various ICU
practices and procedures. Strong assessment and critical thinking
skills are essential for this role. Emergency preparedness is a key
component of this position. Successful candidates must be able to
manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ability to
