Responsibilities: Provide exceptional nursing care to stepdown patients, closely monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in condition Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and standards Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and intervene in patient care situations promptly Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions Qualifications / Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with proven experience in stepdown nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred; these can be obtained on-site within the first three weeks if not already held Permanent address located at least 50 miles from the facility Ability to work extended day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Schedule/Hours: Days: 6:45 a.m. 7:15 p.m. This contract role spans approximately 13 weeks, designed for nurses eager to apply their specialized skills in a supportive setting.
