Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Alexandria, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n Echo Technologist - Echo Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM /n• Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week /n• Weekend requirement: rotating schedule every 5th weekend /n• On-call requirement: 1 week every 5th week /n• Perform 6-8 echocardiograms per day /n• Work primarily with adult echo patients with occasional pediatric telemedicine /n• Perform quality diagnostic echo cardiology procedures independently without supervision /n• Conduct routine echocardiograms for evaluation of possible abnormal heart defects or disease /n• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms /n• Perform stress echocardiograms to evaluate for coronary artery disease /n• Notify physicians daily for exam interpretation and check weekly for needed supplies /n• High School Diploma required; Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Technology school preferred /n• Two years of experience in cardiology field preferred /n• Experience with stress testing preferred /n• Required certifications: BLS, DCS, RCS, RDMS through ARDMS or CCI /n• Must demonstrate competence to perform patient care responsibilities meeting age-specific and developmental needs /n• Temp to perm possibility available /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced cardiac diagnostic services as part of their specialty care offerings.
