Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Alexandria, LA Agency: Care Career Pay: $2,466 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) nurses manage the care of the infant, child or adolescent experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance. An important part of a PICU nurse’s responsibility is providing education, information, and emotional support to their patient’s family and caregivers. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS CPN Core Mandatory Exam - Nursing Core Mandatory Part I Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) Core Mandatory Part III PICU - Skills Pediatric RN RN State License RN – Pediatric ICU (PICU) Assessment
