Job Description Job Description Job Title: RN – Cardiovascular Surgery (with $7,500 Completion Bonus) Location: Alexandria, LA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks (91 days) Shift: 5×8 Days Pay: $2,640/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Requirements Licensure: Active RN License in the state of employment or compact state Certifications: BLS required Experience: Minimum 1 year in the related nursing specialty Responsibilities Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients in compliance with facility policies and professional standards. Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to complications promptly. Administer medications and manage postoperative care according to physician instructions. Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient education and discharge planning. Collaborate with physicians, surgical teams, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Document care activities accurately and efficiently within the facility’s EMR system.
