Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Lake Charles, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,454 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years required, 5 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - CNOR - PALS - TNCC Must-Have: - Experience in Orthopedics, DaVinci (General), and Trauma - Travel experience Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract position. The duration of this assignment is 13 weeks. Shifts are scheduled for the day, with 5 shifts of 8 hours each week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room, with 5 years preferred. A valid state or compact nursing license is required. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, CNOR, PALS, and TNCC are necessary. Experience in Orthopedics, DaVinci (General), and Trauma is essential. Travel experience is desired. This position may require participation in call coverage. Candidates should be prepared to work some holidays. Requests for time off should be kept to a minimum, particularly during the first two weeks of the assignment. Floating may be required based on facility protocols. Orientation hours are expected to be non-billable. Candidates must be comfortable working with a diverse patient population. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
