Med/Surg RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301! Job Opportunity –
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Louisiana Start Date: December 8,
2025 Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Compensation: Details provided
to qualified applicants Schedule: Day or night shift available; 6:1
patient ratio; every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
Highlights: 36-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit with
experienced, collaborative nursing team Work with modern telemetry
equipment including EKG machines, bladder scanners, vein finders,
and DynaMaps Structured shift support with charge nurse, nursing
staff, techs, and unit secretary on days Exposure to cardiac
catheterization and diverse med-surg patient populations Meditech
EMR system for streamlined documentation and workflow Floating
opportunities within similar med-surg telemetry units for skill
development Requirements: Active Louisiana RN license or compact
state license with willingness to obtain Louisiana licensure Recent
Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required Meditech EMR
experience required Strong time management and critical thinking
skills BLS certification required; additional certifications as
