find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Alexandria, Louisiana,

Trauma/Orthopedic/Medical-Surgical Unit – Louisiana Start Date:
January 5, 2026 Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts
with every other weekend required; on-call when census is low; 6:1
nurse-to-patient ratio Highlights: 36-bed
Trauma/Orthopedic/Medical-Surgical unit with a collaborative,
team-based environment Work with a full multidisciplinary team
including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, charge nurses, and unit secretaries
Hands-on experience with advanced equipment including IV pumps,
Wound VACs, telemetry, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, chest tubes, and
epidurals Perform a variety of clinical procedures: wound care,
wound VAC changes, IV insertions, and Foley catheter placements
Opportunity to float to other medical-surgical units for
professional development and cross-training Structured staffing
model ensures safe patient care and team support on every shift
Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current ACLS and
BLS certifications required Medical-Surgical nursing experience
