Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Medsurgical unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Key Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.Requirements
  • Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment.
  • Current NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNs.
  • Current Arrhythmia recognition certification at time of hire or within 8 weeks of hire for experienced RNs.Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time position in a fast-paced Acute Medsurgical unit.
