Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex care to patients in the Labor and Delivery Department
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Meet all requirements identified in this position descriptionRequirements
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
  • Perinatal RN Residency, or recently practicing in a Perinatal Setting is preferred
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
  • BLS required
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or one of the following AWHONN courses: Intermediate FHM, Intermediate FHM Instructor, Advanced FHM Instructor, or Instructor Trainer at time of hire or prior to the end of orientation for experienced nurses; within 90 days of hire for new graduates and experienced nurses new to the specialty then required to maintain course certification thereafter
  • Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire for experienced nurses; within 90 days of hire for new graduates then required to maintain certification thereafter
  • Current NRP certification at time of hire for experienced nurses; within 60 days for new graduates and experienced nurses new to the specialty then required to maintain certification thereafterWork ScheduleTBDWork TypeFull Time
