designated patients under the direction and supervision of a
registered nurse and performs a variety of direct and indirect
patient care duties, utilizing the Nursing Process. Provides
observation of the patient and intervenes as needed to maintain
patient safety. Communicates effectively with co-workers, patients,
family and visitors. Education Required -High school diploma or
equivalent. Completed the sophomore or equivalent year with a
hospital-based clinical rotation of a National League of Nursing
accredited school program.
Student in good standing with the school of nursing. Preferred -
Completed the junior year with a hospital-based clinical rotation
of a National League of Nursing accredited school program . Work
Experience Required -None. Certifications Required -Basic Life
Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Knowledge Skills
and Abilities (KSAs)

The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not
