Orthopedics opening in Lake Charles, Louisiana. General Orthopedic Surgery opening in LA Located in Lake Charles, LA Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC General Orthopedic Surgeon to join hospital. - Assist in covering the growing community. - The schedule is Monday through Friday; 5 day work week. - Traditional model-outpatient/inpatient general. - Join an established and stable practice with 6 other Orthopedic Surgeons. - Seven days of call per month and immediate access to a strong primary care referral base of about 42 primary care physicians. - Current residents and fellows will be considered, and board certified and board eligible physicians are welcome to apply. - Hospital-employed position offers a competitive compensation package, productivity incentives, sign-on bonus, and annual quality bonuses. - Loan repayment, relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, medical benefits, PTO, CME time with allowance, a retirement plan, and malpractice coverage. Location: Lake Charles is conveniently located off of I-10 between Houston and New Orleans. In addition, the Lake Charles Regional Airport makes it convenient to connect to Houston or Dallas for major intercontinental and international flights.
