Job Description:Job Title: Project Leader, Advanced DegreeFLSA Status: ExemptType: Full-timeDepartment: OperationsThe Project Leader Advanced Degree (PLAD) position requires full-time travel and has theprimary responsibilities of leading the implementation process of new ScribeAmericacontracts and managing existing ScribeAmerica client contracts, while being paired with anSPL for all contracts. The PLAD draws on significant experience in the medical field to ensurehigh quality partnerships with ScribeAmerica client contracts. The Project Leader is a member of the ScribeAmerica Management Team and has a direct impact on the management and policy priorities of ScribeAmerica .The PLAD travels and remains on location during the entire implementation process unlessassigned elsewhere by the company. During an implementation, the PLAD is responsible fortimely and successful setup of our services according to client needs, objectives, and contractspecifications. The PLAD partners with the client to optimize scribe utilization and workflow.Working in conjunction with his/her assigned manager, the PLAD will troubleshoot anyoperational issues, delays, or concerns. On some occasions, the PLAD may be expected tohandle several implementations simultaneously. The PLAD will also manage and lead JuniorProject Leaders (JPL) and/or Temporary Project Leaders (TJPL) during the implementationphase.The PLAD is also responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of existingScribeAmerica client contracts, as well as monitoring and addressing the ongoing needs ofthose respective clients. These existing client contracts may be those that the PLAD eitherimplemented or inherited.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to client needs andobjectivesDevelop timelines and weekly status updates of projectsOperate with the SPL as the client's main point of contact for all matters during theimplementation and maintains a strong relationship with the client for the life of theScribeAmerica client contractCommunicate with the facility human resources, IT, and other facility liaisons tocoordinate compliance and develop a detailed pre-employment process.Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving any operational matters during or afterthe implementation phase (e.g. implementation delays)Assist with client-related requests or issues (escalate as needed)Attend client meetings as needed or requested, either in person or via phoneContinually manage and remain accountable for all operational matters the for the life ofthe ScribeAmerica client contractConduct an in-depth monthly review of each site to ensure stability and excellence ateach ScribeAmerica client contractEnsure each assigned ScribeAmerica client contract remains in good standingincluding but not limited to confirming:client goals are being metfull coverage of shifts and adequate staffingtimecard errors are correctedscribe compliance with facility-specific requirements and ScribeAmerica policiesand procedureshigh standards of qualityOperate as senior managerial support for any employees at assigned ScribeAmericaclient contractsTrain and supervise the local Chief Scribe (CS)Conduct daily calls with JPLs to ensure seamless and timely implementation progressClearly communicate the progress and/or health of ScribeAmerica client contracts tothe Senior Management Team (SMT)Actively participate in the development of operational strategies and company-wide bestpracticesRequired Education and ExperienceThis position requires a college degree or the equivalent, in addition to a MD, DO, ADN,BSN, RN or LVN/LPN degreeDemonstrate compliance with all facility, department, company policies and proceduresDisplay exemplary work ethic and professionalismHigh level of independent judgment and decision makingExhibit leadership capabilities that meet the professional standards of ScribeAmericaand the local client/facilityDemonstrate ability to communicate and interface effectively at all levels of theorganizationHas experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsPossess excellent verbal and written communications skillsPossess excellent presentation and teaching skillsPossess strong computer skills - technologically savvyPossess excellent organizational/project management skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailPossess the ability to successfully manage and motivate peopleDemonstrate strong innovation and problem solving skillsExtensive knowledge of the intricacies of provider documentationThorough understanding of medical facility workflow, efficiency management, andnuances of medical documentation.Successfully completed a high quality implementation of ScribeAmerica client contract.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
