• Great work/life balanceJob DetailsBasic Functions:Prepare mechanical designs & bill of materials for shell and tube heat exchangers/pressure vessels.Prepare technical bids for heat exchangers and pressure vessels.Major Duties:1. Design of heat exchangers & pressure vessels2. Prepare bill of materials for each component designed.3. Identify weld procedures needed for the design4. Development of scale drawings using CAD5. Check and approve fabrication drawings for completed designs6. Project management7. Estimate labor hours to fabricate the component/vessel/exchanger8. Write technical proposal for submittal to customerQualifications:Knowledge -Bachelor's degree of Science in Engineering.Thorough understanding of design per ASME Sec VIII Div. 1Knowledge of the various Materials of Construction in ASME Sec. II.Familiar with standard fabrication methods & requirementsWorking knowledge of Autocad 2DBasic understanding of HTRI Thermal Specification SheetsFamiliar with RCS (Heat Exchanger Design Software)Skills -Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.Exceptional communication skills, including technical writing.Must be consistent in thought processes and work methodologyInterested in hearing more?
