Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a
Supply Chain Procurement Specialist/ Principal Supply Chain
Procurement Specialist (Procurement Analyst Level 2 or Level 3) to
join its team of qualified and diverse purchasing professionals
supporting the acquisition of a wide range of electronic, machining
and services commodities. Responsibilities include:
Summary / Responsibilities:
Sources and purchases Machine Parts, Electronic Components, Wire,
Cable Assemblies & Connectors, Test Equipment, Raw Material,
Services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an
organization
Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of
buying products and to establish price objectives
Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and
manufacturing processes
Confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to
determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost
consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required
schedules
Proposal support and preparation of bid packages
Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends
suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies
delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records
Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Procurement Analyst Level
2)
Basic Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 7
years of relevant experience
Will consider 3 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree
or 1 year of relevant experience with Master's
Skill in managing the review, negotiation, and execution of
purchase orders Develops solutions to a variety of problems of
moderate scope and complexity
Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts,
practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices.
Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly
complex professional tasks
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Working Knowledge of SAP Procurement systems
Understanding of FAR/DFAR
Ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
Ability to develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and
complexity.
Ability to work under only general supervision.
Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Procurement Analyst
Level 3)
Basic Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10
years of relevant experience
Will consider 6 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree
or 4 year of relevant experience with Master's
Understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and
regulations
The ability to collaborate with program management and other
multi-functional teams
Must have a general knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal
Contracting regulations
Possess strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and make decisions in a timely
manner
Ability to work with minimal supervision, work successfully in a
fast- paced environment and apply sound judgment to problem
solving
Preferred Qualifications:
Working Knowledge of SAP Procurement systems
Prior experience working issues related to Import / Export of
materials and technology
This position reports to Warner Robins, GA, USA, however, this
position can also be worked from Lake Charles, LA, LA, USA.
Salary Range: $53,500 USD - $80,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $65,800 USD - $98,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,

and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
